Despite it's name, event organizers say the annual "Think While You Drink" trivia night isn't too hard.
Local Relay For Life team Boyd & Boyd Inc. and Friends' fourth annual trivia fundraiser will be held Friday, Jan. 24 at KC Country in Kingdom City. Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia begins at 7.
The BYOB fundraiser is Boyd & Boyd Team's biggest of the year has brought in about $5,000 annually for cancer research, according to event organizer Jamie Oestreich. One of many prominent trivia night fundraisers in Callaway County, Oestreich said"Think While You Drink" stood out in its approachable questions.
"We write our own questions based on things we're interested in and like to research, so the trivia is based on things most people are able to answer," Oestreich said. "It makes it a lot of fun and it's not such obscure stuff that you feel stupid for not knowing all the answers. We try to keep things light and fun and it's not as challenging as the other trivia."
