South Callaway girls fall at Hallsville

Sophomore forward Konnor Arrowood logged a game-high 19 points, but the Lady Bulldogs fell to the Lady Indians 52-38 on Monday night.

South Callaway (2-2) was outscored 10-5 in the opening quarter, then doubled up 15-7 in the second to trail 25-12 at the break.

"It's a pretty disappointing loss; we just had shots that didn't fall," Lady Bulldogs head coach Darren Humphrey said. "They shot the ball really well. Defensively, we played pretty well, we pressured the ball, but they just knocked down shots when they needed to."

Freshman point guard Adrian Mann added 12 points for the Lady Bulldogs.

Hannah Stephens led Hallsville with 18 points, while Brooke Alley added 13.

South Callaway prevailed in the JV game 32-26. Freshman guards Kaci Jordan and Ashley Potter each finished with 10 points.
