Hornets wrestling team coasts to pair of convincing wins at Boonville Quad

BOONVILLE - The Fulton Hornets wrestling team launched the 2014-15 season with a pair of decisive victories.

Fulton - coming off a fourth-place finish in Class 2 last year - flattened Fatima 65-3 and easily handled Lafayette County (Higginsville) 66-12 at the Boonville Quad on Tuesday night.

FULTON 65, FATIMA 3

•106 pounds: freshman Tucker Caswell (Fu) won by 16-1 technical fall over Clayton Haslag (Fa); 113: open; 120: sophomore Devan Hudson (Fu) won by forfeit; 126: sophomore Brandon Dews (Fu) won by forfeit; 132: open;
