'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever' to premiere at William Woods University

Gladys Herdman, played by Lexi Hux, makes an announcement to her siblings about the upcoming Christmas pageant in which they will star in William Woods University's production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." The six mischevious Herdman children bully the other children into not volunteering for roles they desire. The William Woods University Theatre Department has teamed up with the community for the Christmas-themed comedy "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Grace Bradley must take over directing the church's annual Christmas pageant, and when she does, she's met with an unusual challenge - the delinquent Herdman brothers and sisters. The Herdmans take over the leading roles after bullying the other children not to volunteer for the parts and small town chaos ensues.

"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" shows at Dulany Auditorium on the William Woods campus at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4-6 with a 2 p.m. matinee on Dec. 7. Deaf interpreters will be at the Dec. 4 show.
