You stay anywhere long enough and you'll see just about everything. That's the case for Fulton Hornets head football coach Pat Kelley.
"I've done this 17 years now at the same place, so I've been here for the good, the bad and the ugly," Kelley said. "So we have to stay levelheaded about it."
Right now, Kelley and the Hornets are in the midst of the good.
Fulton (3-0) is off to its best start in five years and will look to keep that going when the Hornets open North Central Missouri Conference play with an eagerly anticipated matchup tonight at state-ranked, unbeaten Moberly. Kickoff is at 7.
The Spartans (3-0, 1-0 NCMC) moved up a spot to No. 6 in this week's Class 4 state rankings. Fulton will be playing the first of four straight games against the conference's top four teams from a year ago.
