Sure, it was a bummer for the man on the receiving end, Fulton senior wideout Dalton Horstmeier.

“I can’t lie, I was pretty disappointed,” Horstmeier said with a smirk. “But it was stats, individual stats, and it’s a team sport and we won, so that’s all that matters.”

Horstmeier did his share of damage in his first football game in almost two years, racking up 100 yards and two touchdowns on a team-high eight receptions as the Hornets outlasted the Versailles Tigers in a 44-33 offensive show Friday night.
