North Callaway’s junior quarterback endured a brutal second half against Tipton in the Thunderbirds’ home opener Friday night, throwing four interceptions inside the Cardinals’ 10-yard line — including a pair that were picked in the end zone.
Somehow, North Callaway was able to erase a 13-point deficit — energized by senior Anthony Moses’ kickoff return for a touchdown near the end of the third quarter — and pushed the game into overtime.
