Hornets apply lessons learned vs. Tigers

Pat Kelley drilled his linebackers during Tuesday’s practice and asked them one question.

“What kind of team are we?” the Fulton Hornets head football coach asked.

“Inside out,” they responded. Kelley asked them a few more times, getting the same answer a little louder each time.

With everything the Hornets learned about themselves in rallying for a 28-22 home win over School of the Osage in last week’s season opener, Kelley wants his team — particularly his defense — locked in on this long-standing concept when Fulton plays at Versailles tonight. Kickoff is set for 7.
