Fulton senior Suzie Whitmar closed out her high school tennis career with a pair of losses at the Class 1 state singles championships Friday.
Whitmar bowed to Villa Duchesne's Brittany Green 6-1, 6-0 in the first round at the Cooper Tennis Complex. She was then eliminated in the consolation bracket, falling to Kennett's Hadley Hilburn 6-4, 4-6 and 7-4.
