Fulton Ford partners with annual SERVE Toy Run

Fulton Ford will soon have more than 100 motorcycles on its lot, though they won't be for sale.

They'll be there on the last stop of the annual SERVE, Inc. toy run, held Nov. 2. Fulton Ford will be sponsoring this year's outing, which will begin meeting 10-11 a.m. at the Fire Fighters Memorial in Kingdom City.

All area motorcyclists and motorists are invited to meet before taking a scenic route to the Fulton Walmart. There, volunteers will buy as many new toys - big or small as they'd like - to donate to SERVE for its holiday Adopt-A-Family program.

"It's to help kids," said event organizer Barb DeVille. "There's such a big need in the community, and Christmas is all about the kids, so we want them to have a nice Christmas."

DeVille said she hoped for 150 to 200 riders. Anyone on two wheels or more is welcome on the ride.

To help the tornado-stricken people of Dumas and surroundings, donations can be made to the Delta Area Disaster Relief Fund, care of the Delta Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 894, Dumas, AR, 71639, or through the Arkansas Community Foundation, 700 S. Rock St., Little Rock, AR, 72202.
