Thunderbirds pull away fast, easily handle Indians

VANDALIA — North Callaway head football coach Mike Emmons wanted to see an initial knockout gap on the scoreboard, and his Thunderbirds complied.

North Callawy scored on each of its first five possessions, breaking out to a 35-0 halftime advantage, and the Thunderbirds breezed to a 41-12 Eastern Missouri Conference win over outmanned Van-Far on Friday night.
