Bad stretch keys Hornets’ fall to No. 10 Hannibal

Ask Fulton Hornets head football coach Pat Kelley how it felt seeing his team go from being tied to trailing by 14 points in the final minute of a half and that’s what he’ll say.

And it didn’t get much better for the Hornets in the second half against the Hannibal Pirates, ranked No. 10 in Class 4. Fulton was pummeled by the Pirates’ run game to the tune of 432 yards in the Hornets’ 61-32 North Central Missouri Conference defeat Friday night.
