Callaway County deputies are investigating the death of a woman found Wednesday evening in a parked car near Williamsburg.
Sgt. Kevin Foley of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office said the department received a report of a dead body at 6 p.m. Wednesday found in a parked car in the 9000 block of County Road 184 near Williamsburg.
The Boone-Callaway Medical Examiner's Office responded and took custody of the body for autopsy.
Foley said although an investigation is ongoing, there are no current indications of foul play.
The identity of the woman has been withheld by the Callaway County Sheriff's Office pending notification of relatives of the death.
Foley said the investigation of the death will continue.
