South Callaway aims to ‘follow mantra’ at state meet

Rulo was referencing the objectives that he and South Callaway co-head coach Bill Frazee have outlined for their qualifiers at the Class 2 state track and field championships, which begin late this morning at Lincoln University’s Dwight T. Reed Stadium in Jefferson City.

South Callaway advanced to state in 17 events — 10 on the girls’ side and seven with the boys — after an impressive showing at the Sectional 2 championships last Saturday in New Franklin. The Lady Bulldogs captured a team title, while the Bulldogs came in third.
