Moberly's Brittany Kroner produced the game's only goal in the final minute of play, sending the Lady Hornets to a 1-0 North Central Missouri Conference triumph over the Fulton Lady Hornets soccer team Thursday night at the high school athletic complex.
The narrow loss left Fulton at 1-13-1 on the season and 0-7 in the NCMC.
"The girls played an excellent game of teamwork against one of the top teams in the conference," Lady Hornets head coach Kati Wallace said. "They proved something to themselves, that this season isn't over."
