Lose opener to Moberly on late grand slam, drop second game to Eldon in nine innings

Masek liked their resolve and, in spite of their record, believes that his Fulton Hornets are getting better.

Unfortunately, none of that translated to wins Tuesday in the 19th-annual Fulton Tournament.

The Hornets dropped both of their tourney games, falling to the Eldon Mustangs 10-7 in nine innings Tuesday night at William Woods University after bowing to North Central Missouri Conference foe Moberly 7-6 earlier at the high school athletic complex.
