Diedriech returns to Fulton

Dan Diedriech has returned to Fulton to serve as the new vice president of advancement at William Woods University.

Diedriech had been employed most recently as senior director of development for colleges and units at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Diedriech earlier served for three years in Fulton as assistant vice president for college relations and 10 years as vice president of institutional development at Westminster College in Fulton.

"It's a great honor," Diedriech said, "to be working for William Woods University. I've had the pleasure of knowing President Jahnae Barnett for a number of years and I'm delighted to be working with such a visionary leader a we build relationships with alumni and friends at William Woods University."

At William Woods, Diedriech will be responsible for the departments of development, alumni relations, marketing and university relations.

"We are pleased," Barnett said, "to have someone with so much experience join our team. We look forward to the many things we know the areas of his responsibility can accomplish under his guidance. There is no question that his knowledge of the community is a significant asset."

In addition to his earlier work at Westminster College in Fulton, Diedriech spent eight years as executive director of university relations at Lincoln University. Earlier, he worked for nine years as news director, anchor and reporter at KRCG-TV.
