A year after approving changes to downtown parking regulations that included increased parking times and the creation of parking zones, the Fulton City Council devoted its Tuesday night work session to reviewing those changes.
Brick District Association representative Gary Vaught, owner of Bek's Restaurant on Court Street, told the council the association would like the city to keep the regulations as they are now.
"We had a meeting today, and we have come to the opinion that we know there are some disgruntled people out there, but others - like myself - have found we haven't heard too much," Vaught said. "We would ask that you could continue as you're doing and look at it at a later time."
Ward 2 Councilman Lowe Cannel asked what kind of complaints the downtown merchants have been hearing.
