Online teacher certification plan to be discussed today at Fulton City Hall

College graduates who might want to obtain Missouri certification as a school teacher will have an opportunity today to learn how that certification can be obtained through online courses.

Betsey Hamilton, representing the American Board, is hosting a series of events at Fulton City Hall to discuss the online American Board program and to answer questions.

“If you hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to become a certified teacher, you should attend the information session to find out how you can be teaching within a year through the American Board program,” Hamilton said.

Two separate sessions will be offered by Hamilton today in the Executive Meeting Room of Fulton City Hall, located at the corner of Market and 4th streets. The first session will begin at 2:45 p.m. today and the next session will start at 3:45 p.m. today.
