It took the Fulton Hornets 6 minutes, 47 seconds to register their first field goal against the rival Mexico Bulldogs. The basket — a 3-pointer from sophomore forward Devin Gibson — cut the Hornets’ deficit to 21 points.

Mexico — ranked No. 6 in Class 4 — overwhelmed the Hornets shooting the ball and stifled Fulton defensively, resulting in a 91-40 North Central Missouri Conference dismantling Tuesday night at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
