St. Peter to hold second Casino Night, raffle and auction Feb. 9

Fulton residents who are feeling lucky will be able to bet the house to benefit the Catholic schoolhouse at St. Peter upcoming Casino Night fundraiser.

The Casino Night will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and games beginning half an hour later. Tickets cost $25 a person, with all proceeds benefiting the parish school.

Event organizer Shawn Edgar said that the event follows the church's first go at the event, which he said was so successful that Ducks Unlimited emulated the format at their own fundraiser at the church held later in the year.

"We tried to do something a little bit new last year and it turned out to be a huge success for us," said Edgar. "It was a lot of fun and all the money we raise goes to the (school,) it's open to anybody and everybody."
