California — Freshman guard Sloane Totta’s 14 points led the Lady Hornets as they outlasted the Boonville Lady Pirates 43-40 in the third-place game of the California Tournament on Saturday afternoon. Senior guard Stephanie Hughes added 12 and freshman forward NaShayla Brandt pulled down 12 rebounds as Fulton avenged a 54-36 loss to Boonville on Dec. 17.
