A business owner, two volunteer organizers and one high school thespian troupe were honored at the Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet Friday for "making a world of difference within our community."

That was the theme of this year's banquet, and after hundreds of the county's business owners, politicians, volunteers and notable officials settled into Tucker Dining Hall on William Woods University's campus and enjoyed their meal, Roger Moser, Thespian Troupe 4565, Kathy Richey Liddle and Sandy Corbet were all honored for doing just that.

Moser was recipient of this year's Chamber Leadership Award. During the announcement, returning president Clint Smith said Moser was "dedicated to improving the life of the community."

"Through his annual and valued sponsorships of the Chamber Golf fundraiser, the Town and Country dinner and the Silent Auction, Roger has time and time again proven to be a Chamber member who can be depended upon," said Smith, who also noted Moser was always eager to donate food for various Chamber events and causes.
