Mokane — The North Callaway Ladybirds won’t get another shot at a state-ranked showdown against Hermann, which this time would have been with a tournament championship on the line.
North Callaway outscored New Haven 22-13 in the fourth quarter Thursday night, but the second-seeded Ladybirds’ late scramble came up short in a 52-49 semifinal loss to the No. 3 seed Lady Shamrocks at the South Callaway Invitational Tournament.
