Mokane — The state-ranked North Callaway Ladybirds didn’t need long to remove any possibility of suspense.
No. 2 seed North Callaway outscored No. 7 New Bloomfield 19-0 in the first quarter and the Ladybirds breezed to a 44-18 victory over the Lady Wildcats in first-round play Tuesday night at the South Callaway Invitational Tournament.
