Boyd and Boyd "Think While You Drink" Relay fundraiser returns Friday

Callaway County will be able to enjoy a night of trivia, food, games and dance while benefiting cancer research Friday.

Team Boyd & Boyd Inc. and Friends will be hosting their third annual "Think While You Drink" Relay For Life Trivia Night Friday, Jan. 11 at KC Country in Kingdom City.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with trivia at 7. There's a snack bar available, though event co-organizer Cynthia Beckmeyer said that it was bring your own drink and food. For $160 per up to eight-person team, guests can answer trivia questions, enjoy games such as limbo and an evening of dance until about 1 a.m.

Beckmeyer said that Team Boyd & Boyd Inc. and Friends aimed to make the event more approachable for casual trivia fans. The general categories for the upcoming Trivia Night are all new and kept under wraps until the day of the event, but questions in the past have included "identify the flavor of the following jellybeans."
