Owner Roger Moser, whose store is now located about a mile further north down the street, said that he had gotten calls that the roof caved in there at around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Moser still owns the building and uses it for equipment storage and leased it to other businesses in town to store stock.

"We just have to get some construction people in here to determine what we have to do," said Moser. "I was wondering what I was going to do with the building, but now I don't have to. It's pretty nasty."

Moser called the Fulton Fire Department that afternoon, who responded at around 1:40 p.m. Chief Dean Buffington said their first priority was making sure no one was inside, and then shutting off utilities to the building. Moser had already stopped gas service to the old store.
