Mexico — Senior guard Stephanie Hughes and freshman guard Sloane Totta each tallied 16 points and eight rebounds for the No. 5 Lady Hornets to the No. 4 Moberly Lady Spartans in the first round of the Class 4, District 8 tournament on Monday afternoon.
Senior forward Bailey Mitchell added 14 points and freshman forward NaShayla Brandt scored six points and grabbed a team-high 17 rebounds for Fulton, which trailed 19-14 after one quarter but fell behind 33-20 at halftime.
