Sparked by junior guard Leigh Ann Lutz's 27 points, top-seeded Westminster got by the No. 2 Webster Lady Gorloks 71-55 to secure the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title on Sunday at Westminster Gymnasium.
With the victory, the Lady Blue Jays earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament and will play at Simpson (Iowa) College in first-round play at 8 p.m. on Friday.
