College readiness measured by ACT test

High school achievement needed to enter college is measured by the American College Test (ACT), which is designed to assess academic readiness for college.

In the Fulton School District, 71.2 percent of the graduates took the ACT test last year with a composite score of 21.80, compared to a statewide composite ACT score of 21.60 and an average of 66.9 percent of the statewide graduates taking the test.

In the New Bloomfield School District, 54.84 percent of the students took the ACT test last year and had an average score of 21.70.

In the North Callaway School District, 54.49 percent of the students took the ACT test last year and had an average score of 20.40.

In the South Callaway School District, 73.44 percent of the students took the ACT test last year and had an average score of 20.90.
