Four area schools participate in Missouri archery programs

Four Callaway County schools are participating in the Missouri National Archery in the Schools Program.

All students in the program are eligible to participate in the organization's fourth annual state archery tournament next month in Warrensburg.

The tournament, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 23, in the Multipurpose Building, 500 South Washington Ave., at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.

The four Callaway County schools participating in the Missouri National Archery in the Schools Program are New Bloomfield High School at New Bloomfield, South Callaway High School at Mokane, Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton, and the Hatton-McCredie Elementary School in the North Callaway School District.
