Lady Hornets fitting into roles, sink Boonville

Fulton head coach TJ Quick is encouraged that her Lady Hornets are starting to embrace alternating roles as a critical component in their development.

Fulton outscored Boonville by a combined 18-1 over two pivotal stretches in the first and third quarters Friday night, and the Lady Hornets went on to vanquish the Lady Pirates 49-36 in an NCMC matchup at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.

Packaging back-to-back wins for only the second time this season, Fulton improved to 8-11 overall and 3-4 in the North Central Missouri Conference. The Lady Hornets - coming off a 51-43 home victory over NCMC rival Mexico last Monday night - defeated Boonville for the second time in three meetings this season.
