Bartley Elementary welcomed new friends to school on Thursday - Larry, the legless lizard; Julius Squeezer, the carpet python; and Tasha, a baby wolf - just to name a few.
The animals were a part of the "Amazing Animals Assembly" at the school, which featured creatures from The Bureau of Lectures and Concert Artists, Inc., a company that puts on entertaining and educational programs for school children.
Other animals included a long-haired chinchilla, sulcata tortoise and black-and-white South American tegu.
Students volunteered to hold the animals during demonstrations led by animal specialist Rick Lang.
