South Callaway junior Cory Hanger proved to be a constant nuisance for opponents - both on offense and defense - throughout the 2013 football season.
Hanger was a two-way, first-team selection in Class 2 as an all-purpose running back and defensive back on the media's Central Missouri all-district teams announced Wednesday.
A total of 16 Callaway County football players received all-district status for the second straight year. Hanger was joined by six teammates from South Callaway and four players from North Callaway on the Class 2 squad, while five Fulton players - led by senior wide receiver Chris Tilson's first-team nod -were picked on the Class 3 team.
