Police nab 19 in warrant roundup

Last week was not a good one for 19 Fulton area residents who failed to appear in court to answer traffic or criminal charges.

Fulton Police Lt. Lyla Robbins said the department last week conducted a warrant roundup of people who had failed to appear in either state or municipal court.

They were arrested and had to post bond to avoid spending time in jail.

The roundup resulted in the following arrests from Aug. 21 to Aug. 26 for failing to appear in court to answer a charge:

• Robin Hernandez, 42, Fulton, for failure to appear in court on a parking violation. Bond set at $39.50.

• Matasha Nickens, 24, Fulton, for failure to appear in court on a charge of failing to provide a secure child restraint. Bond set at $49.50.

• Malik N. Robinson, 17, Fulton, for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while driver's license was suspended. Bond set at $200.

• Jason L Houston, 33, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to anawer a peace disturbance charge. Bond set at $150.

• Mark A. Cheney, 26, Fulton, for failure to appear in court on a charge of failing to register a motor vehicle, failing to provide proof of vehicle insurance, and failing to wear a seat belt. Bond set at $309.

• Lamarr O. Fulce, 24, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of failing to obey a traffic device. Bond set at $100.

• Joshua T. Thorpe, 21, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of operating a vehicle without providing proof of vehicle insurance. Bond set at $175.

• Clifford J. Conner, 30, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of domestic assault. Bond set at $500.

• James Foster, 27, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of operating a vehicle with expired license plates. Bond set at $79.50.

• Donald W. Holman, 22, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of possessing a controlled substance. Bond set at $750.

• Richard A. Todd Jr., 28, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of operating a vehicle without proof of insurance. Bond set at $150.

• Bradley Potter, 31, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of probation violation. Bond set at $200.

• Kaylea N. Lawson, 21, Portland, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of passing bad checks. Bond set at $5,000.

• Clarence A. Guyton, 45, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of careless and imprudent driving. Bond set at $100.

• Amy Hutcheson, 40, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer charges of driving a vehicle while her driver's license was revoked and speeding. Bond set at $300.

• Scotty L. Melton, 28, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of failing to register a motor vehicle with the Missouri Department of Revenue. Bond set at $500.

• Cody L. Cook, 31, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of operating a vehicle with expired license plates. Bond set at $79.50.

• Daryl B. Terry, 44, Mokane, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of operating a vehicle with expired license plates. Bond set at $79.50.

• James D. Allen, 52, Fulton, for failure to appear in court to answer a charge of stealing. Bond set at $500.
