The Fulton Colleges Fund Drive kicked off Monday afternoon with an after-hours reception for volunteers, donors and local officials, including William Woods University President Jahnae Barnett, Westminster College President Barney Forsythe, Fulton Mayor LeRoy Benton and attorney Joe Holt. The fund awarded $52,000 in scholarships to 24 Callaway students attending William Woods and Westminster this year, and kick-off volunteers will spend the week calling area individuals and businesses to raise as much money as possible.
