Mexico shreds Hornets in 19-4 romp

There’s a big difference between the Fulton squad that won three in a row and the Hornets squad that left the field after Friday night’s North Central Missouri Conference game against the rival Mexico Bulldogs.

A stark difference, in fact.

“It was day and night,” Fulton head coach Darren Masek said. “That team didn’t resemble the one that has played the last three games.”

The Hornets were blitzed for 17 runs over the final four innings in a humbling 19-4 loss to the Bulldogs at the high school athletic complex.
