Every year the Callaway County YMCA dedicates a day to celebrating children's health as a part of Kids Health Day. This year's event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the YMCA.
As a part of the event, children will learn about healthy living, being active and oral health.
Usually Kids Health Day takes place on Saturday, but it was moved to Friday this year so that the Fulton Public School kindergarten and first grade classes can join in on the fun as part of a field trip. The event is also open to the public.
"This year we worked with the schools to actually have them use it as a field trip so the kids can come over and learn about healthy living and being active," said Patty Miller, Callaway County YMCA executive director.
