Murray campaign focuses on education, backed by school administrators

Pam Murray, candidate for the Missouri House of Representatives' 49th District that covers Callaway County, has been endorsed by the Missouri School Administrators Political Action Committee (MSAPAC), a group made up of school administrators from various groups throughout the state.

Murray received the honor for her support of education, which has been a cornerstone of her election platform.

"Pam represents the type of person that we need to stand up for Missouri's public schools in Jefferson City," said MSAPAC chairman Kurt Keller in a written release. "Education is always a hot topic in the General Assembly and electing Pam Murray is going to benefit the communities, residents and students of district 49."

A former Holts Summit alderwoman, Murray has said education is important to Missouri's future.

"I really feel it's the cornerstone of our economy and key to our recovery," said Murray. "Every child has a right to a quality education. When you have quality education, you have a trained and ready workforce."
