Fulton Police to open doors of new station

After months of renovations, the Fulton Police Department finally has taken up residence in its new home located at the intersection of Business 54 South and Churchill Road.

From 10 a.m. until noon on Sept. 28, the department invites area residents to come in and take a tour of the facility during a special open house.

"We are certainly extremely proud of our new building, and I would hope the public would come out and look at it and be as proud as we are," said Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers.

The event will start with a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by cake and punch and tours of the building for any interested citizens.
