JC man wanted in Callaway Co. burglary

At approximately 1:30 a.m., Saturday, deputies with the Callaway County Sheriff Office arrived at 3573 County Road 4006 to attempt to locate Aaron Thoenen on a probation violation warrant.

Information had been received that Thoenen was at this location, but upon arrival it was determined that Thoenen fled the area on foot.

While searching for Thoenen, deputies observed a red 2008 Polaris four wheeler, two televisions, a game camera and numerous copper wire.

Believing the items were stolen, photographs were taken of the property.

Later that day a resident on County Road 4006 reported the theft of copper wire, televisions, several game cameras and two rifles.

Tracks from a four wheeler were seen at the location of the burglary.

The victim looked at the photographs that were taken earlier that morning and identified the property as his.

A search warrant was obtained and the property was recovered, except for two rifles.

Thoenen resides at 5114 B Charm Ridge Drive in Cole County and the Callaway County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance with any information of his where whereabouts or other criminal activity involving Thoenen.
