Hornets look to reduce mistakes vs. Spartans

It’s Thursday afternoon and Fulton head football coach Pat Kelley is reminded of the on-field snafus that have plagued the Hornets the previous two weeks.

“The last three weeks, really,” Kelley said with a chuckle. “Let’s just leave it that.”

Mistakes, mostly self-inflicted, have cost Fulton dearly in its 0-3 start to the season. Kelley knows this, his players are aware and collectively they have the chance to rectify it tonight when the Hornets host the Moberly Spartans.

The homecoming game, Fulton’s North Central Missouri Conference opener, kicks off at 7 p.m. at Robert E. Fischer Jr. Stadium.
