BOWLING GREEN Junior starter Jaida Gray was practically flawless, throwing a complete-game two-hitter in the North Callaway Ladybirds’ 4-0 Eastern Missouri Conference win over Bowling Green on Thursday night.
Gray struck out five and walked two in earning her second win of the season for North Callaway (9-3, 4-1 EMO).
“She pitched an excellent game,” Ladybirds co-head coach Brandi Thomsen said. “It was a cold night, but she came out strong. We’re proud of her because it was a tight zone, but she pitched a great game.”
