Columbia From the talk around here the last several months, it might seem like Missouri has never played a “big” football game before.
The Tigers have played their share of top-10 teams in the past, but Missouri’s game against Georgia on Saturday night has a different feel to it.
Everyone involved with the University of Missouri athletic department has spent the last nine months lauding the school’s move to the Southeastern Conference.
Saturday, when seventh-ranked Georgia comes to Faurot Field (6:45 p.m., ESPN2), the wait is finally over for coaches, players and fans.
