Four straight victories led to a fourth straight district championship.
The Fulton Lady Hornets volleyball team swept both the Boonville Lady Pirates and the Kirksville Lady Tigers to earn the Class 3, District 9 championship at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
No. 2 seed Fulton (21-8-2) took down top-seeded Boonville 25-20 and 25-22 to secure the championship. After trailing by as many as six points in the opening game to the Lady Pirates, the Lady Hornets tied the match at 12 on a kill by senior Billie Klutts.
