As the new owner and general manager of NAPA Auto Parts, 213 E. 5th St. in Fulton, Robert Wheeler plans to expand and move the store to a new Fulton location later this month.

Wheeler said Thursday he purchased the store from Wilber Stahr of Fulton, who had owned the Fulton store for many years.

To enable him to add more products and improved customer service, Wheeler said he plans to start moving the store on Oct. 22 to a new location at 1221 N. Bluff St. in Fulton.

The building to house the new NAPA store was occupied previously by Miller Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep, which moved earlier to 809 S. Westminster Ave. in Fulton.

"We hope to have the new NAPA store open somewhere around Oct. 26. We will have a grand opening later," Wheeler said.
