CUBA — The South Callaway Bulldogs’ running game was not deterred, or slowed, by some mud.
Five different South Callaway players ran for touchdowns and the state-ranked Bulldogs — ranked No. 9 in Class 2 — accumulated a season-high 382 yards on the ground Friday night in shredding Cuba 50-6.
Rain throughout the day in the Cuba area left the Wildcats’ field looking like a swamp Friday night. The conditions, though, had no influence on South Callaway’s running attack.
