SPRINGFIELD - Senior guard Ashlee Taylor delivered 16 points Friday night and the No. 23 William Woods University Lady Owls remained unbeaten by battling past Evangel University 60-54.
Taylor - who connected on three 3-pointers and made 5-of-6 free throws - also came up with a season-high four steals as William Woods forced 16 turnovers. The Lady Owls overcame a 35-percent shooting performance (19-of-55) in improving to 4-0 on the season.
