Thanks to video surveillance images, the Fulton Police Department was able to make an arrest Friday in relation to a Nov. 10 robbery at Busy Corner Cafe.

Michael L. Welch, 31, was taken into custody on charges of first degree robbery, armed criminal action, second degree assault and felony stealing in connection to the Nov. 10 incident in which he allegedly robbed the Busy Corner manager in the restaurant’s parking lot at knife point. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to his hand and chest.
According to an FPD press release, several employees identified Welch from surveillance video from the restaurant.
