Decker, Owls drop third-straight game

Senior guard Logan Decker poured in a team-high 16 points for a second-straight game, but once again, the total came in defeat. The Owls fell to Mount Mercy University 82-75 in the finale of the Bosch Financial Shootout on Saturday.

Decker shot 6-for-10 from the field and couldn't connect on any of his five 3-point attempts. Junior guard Seth Thomas was the only William Woods player in double figures, tallying 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting. As a team, the Owls shot 46 percent from the field and 48 percent from 3-point range.

The Owls (1-3) take on Avila University tonight at 7:30 at Anderson Arena.
